Steam Error

I had to restart my pc and since i done so i keep getting this message


Need help to resolve this asap please, as till this is sorted no server is able to be hosted...

I have restarted pc a couple of times thinking it might help, but still get error

I have just found answer to this on the steam forum, so i have deleted this file and it is updating as we speak,

Yeah, you gotta watch out for them blobs.

PS You probably know this already but from the steam menu go Steam, Backup and restore games. I have done this for all of my expansions and 2 gigs of data takes about 3 minutes to restore. If you need to restore the game or an expansion without a backup then it takes me hours due to slow download speed.

I agree with Mr Maniac, I also backup because in South Africa internet is paid per GB so we have bandwidth capping. So I use this to back up games bought from Steam that I may want to dust off and play again. I even cheated on race 07 because I have a friend who bought a physical copy of Race 07, and used that disk to install initially using my steam key.

I'm still struggling to convince my friend to install it again and play, he won't budge.

Speaking of Blobs, I recently discovered that I have the movie on my external, maybe I'll watch it soon.
