Does anyone else have this besides me? They did some physics and tire changes last week and it's starting to handle pretty good. Decent ffb too.

Yeah, I've heard some great things about Project C.A.R.S
The awesome thing about it, is it has DTM featured!
I did think of trying this, but alas I decided to do the rFactor 2 Beta
How is the Realism Grumpp?

Andy, check out these articles and vids, this game is definitely worth checking out!

I think I wanna try this regardless, Thanks for the Link Grumpp.

Edit:
I bit the bullet and bought the monthly build, I have rFactor 2 Beta and Project cars, I've been watching both since inception, but now that I have beta builds for both, I can compare the two, and give my opinions about both, so watch this space.

Going to buy junior account today and check it out - I'm in a phase of simracing games testing, have to use that properly Wink
When I have it, I will compare C.A.R.S. to iRacing and Race07, so stay tuned Smile

Cars is pre alpha. The tracks are't even finished yet (visually). I was having a blast driving the DTM around Bathurst last weekend. They have that track looking really good.

I played a bit of Project CARS, Grumpp is right, this is pre-alpha, so they have a long way to go. The cars look stunning!!!
I haven't spent much time on this game, something feels a bit funny on the handling side, but I cannot point it out. Maybe I'm just so used to Race and rFactor ATM.

Yep, it's pre-alpha, still the details that have been put into cars is amazing (suspension work is just...WOW Very Happy ). Tracks, yes, unfinished, but everything is so dynamic and I really feel the wind in my hair Wink) The big con is FFB work - I mean, sometimes it's working quite ok, but generally it is too strong imho and I don't have the full knowledge what is going on with my car. In my oppinion iRacing FFB work is the best of all simracing games I have played (except rF2, which I haven't tried yet). I truly hope pCARS will become a very, very good racing game, but on the other hand they (devs) need to hurry up a bit, because if rF2 is released earlier, then I presume most people will stay with second release of one of the best simracers over the past years.
Unless they already play iRacing, which is outstanding Very Happy (it's the only sim I feel that I'm actually driving a car)

The main issue's with IRacing is
1: the price. not only do u have to pay a monthly sub to race but then you have to pay for the tracks and cars (Which are well over priced)
2: For the newcomers the problem is the wreckers and then that is when the problems start so u cant advance to the next level...

For me though, i am holding out for GTR3 as i am 100% sure this is going to be alot better than rFactor2 which even though is in the Beta release stage is not a great game to me. so i will stick with rFactor lol...

I just think that simbin are able to get ISI a little better as long as the extra mods r continuing on as with GTR2. ok i hear you say that rFactor has a lot of mods and that is the better of the 2 games, but imho GTR2 is that much better.

I now that graphics aint everything when it comes to a graet simracing game it is how the ga,e feels and how realistic the game looks and drives. For that rFactor gets the pass, but on the other hand GTR2 just has that little extra factor to the game. and for that reason i think that the same will happen with GTR3. rFactor 2 will be the more popular game but GTR3 will again have that wow factor

What I am really worried about rFactor 2 is that it will be full of unfinished mods, created by people without much time/budget to finish each one. Maybe this could be a potential window for games like pCARS or GTR3.
About iRacing - yes, it's kind of expensive, but the quality which comes with it is superb. Maybe graphics aren't the top notch, but physics and driving experience is sooo real.
To be back to the topic - I wonder if pCARS could achieve similar level of realism, but in terms of graphics/sounds it looks promising.
The only thing left for us is to wait and see how everything goes, but there is one good thing about 2012 - so many simracing games to be released, so high level of competition = in terms of gameplay it's a 100% profit for gamers Very Happy

The only main issue with p-cars is it is being made be ex-Shift producers, which we all know that they are good games but they still have that arcade feel... which is a huge shame, and i hope that i am wrong about this game coz i also know that the community is behind them too and they have a say on how the game is being produced, But i still have that feeling that this will not be classes as a simracing game, but as an arcadish racing game.

Lie i say i hope that i am wrong and turns out to be with ISI and Simbin as is Rieza who done Game Stock Car and are in the middle of producing Ayrton Senna the game
