| I was thinking we could have a little week day race or fun league? Maybe a small light low-mid power car and i quick 30-45min sprint. While we figure out what we're gonna do? If theres not many of us then we could prob squeeze on andies connection. Which is somethin we need to test soon too. just thought id get the ball rolling All ideas are welcome | |

| Looks like ISI are being "Bellends" about Kiwis hard copy of rF. Aparantly he does not have proof he owns the game, when he has the case with keys and disc.......
So much for DRM that doesn't hurt the consumer.......
Not sure if there is much else he can do, shame that rF2 and GTR3 are in the pipes, maybe we should just not bother with rF2, our little F*** U to ISI.

| That really sucks for Kiwi. Maybe take a pic of the cover, and of the key inside, and say, here's your proof. Maybe try the no-cd patch: http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_rfactor.shtml
Here check this out, a lot of people having this issue: http://rfactor.net/web/rf1/help/english-rfactor-faq/ http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/269-How-do-I-create-a-clean-install-of-rFactor
There has been a general out cry about this sort of stuff, EA allow 5 installs for games, after that you cannot re-activate. That goes against the ownership laws, but they don't care.
I think there should just be one huge database, and you register all your owned games with registered keys and if you own the game, you can play it on any platform. That's why I actually like Steam, think they're trying to be like that, but you have to purchase the game through Steam.

| Theres a few companies doing this now, they make you think your buying the game but if you read their EULA you will be horrified to find that your actually only renting the game off them.
EA and Sony are the worse ones. After what Sony done with the PS3 and OtherOS i will never buy another Sony product. EA services are shocking too, reason i didnt buy BF3!
I know were heading off topic now.
P.S. By agreeing to Sony's EULA you also give up your right to sue them... i think EA have something similar....

| Iknow that with ISI rFactor they do give you 5 keys too start with but they say that if you need more to email them and they will acknowledge you more....
And I really think that ISI are being fools not allowing Kiwi t proved the info even with the origianl email address i think this sucks....
You should contact the Floor manager and speak to him about this issue as owning the game with the serial and key-code is surely all they need to give you a key??
ISI need to sort this out now and not later..
Good luck and just keep badgering them, They will give in the end....
