Weekly Race.

Ok so i was thinking, we need to race

So I have an idea to keep things interesting for now. Every week one of us decides on a track and a set of cars (Im thinkin keep it to stock content or arrange a mod race a few weeks in advance to get everyone modded). Then we all meet up on a Sunday(? open to suggestions) and have a battle! Be creative this could be good fun

Basically what i was thinkin is that we dont have regular hours where we play together so this will give people something to practise in the week while others are AFK/Sleeping.

So can we let everyone know about this thread? We'll use it as a role call. So if your up for this reply "Count me in "

So im gonna start this by saying. Nordschleife BMW Mini's. 2 races of 2 laps. December 29th 2100 GMT.

Date negotiable. Possibly even give it a miss over Christmas.

Im in, Spa , 10 laps, WTCC 87 BMW and Alfa

If i change the race day to 28th? is that any better?

It would be great if we could race on the weekend. Doesn't matter which day. I can move my schedule around to be there.

Ye, in the new year we could run this series till we find our feet. I think maost people are up for a race on the weekend

I really miss the DTM races.
Grump has also asked about DTM, we all have the mod, so shouldn't be too difficult to get a DTM race going.
Otherwise I'm easy.

Now that the festive season is over, we should organise something this weekend, what say y'all?

The Suggestion is to run a GT sport race at the Nurburgring GP circuit this Sunday at 20:30 GMT.
Can I suggest a 60 min GT style race.
The reason for the cars and track selection is that if we get more interest, people can jump right in and race, without having to download anything.
Let us know on your thoughts.

Perhaps we should also have a 2 hour (max 2h30m) endurance race sometime soon too (3 hours was a bit too long). As I recall, Kiwi and a few others joined the old R$C during that time. So hopefully we can attract more Kiwi's (LOL) that way.

This week we are @ Nurgburgh GP track with the GT Club, Forced Pit min 2 Tyres to be changed.

Practice is up for 60 mins,
Quali is 20 mins TimeTrail so your quickest laps counts
Race 45 mins...

Quali is closed but hop that others will join during practice so AI is not being used...

Time trial quali is on the cards for this race. takes longer but we have reduced race time to balance out the overall length of the event.

Time I would like to see as early as possible. Which leaves us with Kiwis earliest possible time of 2030 GMT. Hopefully people will be able to hang around afterwards for a quick discussion on the race.

IMO though this needs a new thread to make sure people find it.

Can everyone please troll around on steam friends etc and get everyone who normally races involved.

We need to do a roll call! 12 players max for now till we get hold of oo7 to make a race server. Shouldnt be hard to fill

I must say that the cars and circuit has been very popular with the pubbies, won't be long till we get more members.
